Traditional Replica of an Edwardian Day Sailer circa 1910
14ft traditional sailing dinghy with a balanced lug rig. Built in 2016 to a contemporary design circa 1910 using traditional materials and methods of construction.
RCD Exempt (Certificate issued by Stirling and Son Ltd)
Construction:
Built of maghagony on oak with a brass ringbolt in the bow and sternpost, a brass keel band and brass bilge rubbing bands, mahagony capping rails and fitted sole boards.
Removable oak boarding post to aid stability when boarding
Finish:
Oiled interior (last done winter 2023/2024)
Epifanes varnish exterior including spars
Hempels brilliant gloss single pack
Gold paint to cove line and name on transom
Antifoul (last done Nov 2024)
